Form of oral presentation: Partner
The students will be working in pairs during the creation and oral presentation         of this project. Each pair will be given a different advertisement for a current             movie or television program. The following set of instructions and criteria to be         evaluated will be given to each student.

A Movie Review

You and your partner are well-known movie and television critics, and you always have opposing opinions of each movie and program that you see. Each of you will present a review of the movie or television program in your advertisement. (Remember that the two of you seldom agree on anything!) You will present your reviews to the class, and the audience will be answering questions relating to the information you are providing.

Include the following in each review:
                - What kind of movie or program are you reviewing? (comedy, horror, etc.)

                - What is the title of the movie?

                - Who are the actors?

                - Briefly describe the plot

                - Describe the setting

                - What is the theme?

                - How many "stars" do you give it and why?

                - Each review must include at least five reaction verbs

This activity will be worth 15 oral points per person, and the correct use of new vocabulary and the grammar structure will be included in the evaluation. You will also be handing in your written script which will be evaluated using the above criteria. The written grade is worth 10 points.

You may use note cards during your presentation, but do not read from them!! Remember, the audience will be reacting to your review, so it is important that you provide the members with clearly-stated and well-organized information.

Total point value of presentation: 25
