Task

Your parents want to put new carpet and a baseboard in their bedroom. However, they need to know how much carpet and baseboard to order. Since you are taking a geometry class this semester, your parents ask you to give them a hand. Your job is to make a set of directions for your parents to follow. You then need to follow those directions, and calculate how much carpet and baseboard your parents will need.

Carpet and Baseboard Criteria

The students will be assessed on the following items.

1) Logical flow of directions

2) Arrangement of proportions

3) Accuracy of calculations

4) Organization of work
